Peter's little gem

Peter's Pub is a perfect spot to chat and catch up, in a friendly, old-world atmosphere.

Peter's Pub is one of those pubs you may miss if you don't know about it - and you'd be missing out!  It's a lovely little spot, the perfect place for a quiet afternoon coffee (or pint!) with the paper, or a good chin-wag and bit of craic with friends in the evenings.

The staff are very friendly, especially barman Brian, and one of the more unusual aspects is there's no background music - so no yelling at each other to be heard!  A mixed age group, ranging from 20's to 50's or 60's, there's a lovely relaxed atmosphere with seating and decor remeniscent of an aul Dublin or country pub.

There's even an outdoor seating area in the little laneway beside the pub, a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by on a sunny day, or nip out to have a quick smoke, which many Dubliners still do despite the smoking ban!  You'll find this authentic Dublin gem at the end of South William Street, opposite Break for the Border.
