About the Guinness storehouse
This is Dublin and Ireland’s number one visitors attraction and is a must-see-and-do for your Dublin visit.
The Guinness storehouse was originally built in 1904 to house the Guinness fermentation process.
Inside these walls the skills of brewing and fermentation have been passed on from generation to generation of Dubliners since 1759. Visitors are welcome to come and taste every aspect of its craft and draft. Here you can try your hand at pulling and appreciating the perfect pint. You will also learn how the Guinness barrels were crafted at the Cooperage. While you enjoy your complimentary pint of Guinness at the Gravity Bar you can take in the breathtaking view across the city.
Interesting fact
The core of the building that houses the Guinness storehouse is modelled on a giant pint glass. If full, this giant glass would hold approximately 14.3 million pints of Guinness!
Check out.. the barley grains from Tutankhamun's Tomb - nearly 3,500 old, in the Guinness storehouse archives. Located on the ground mezzanine floor.
